Stacey Yates SellarThe best parenting coaches don't just know the research — they know what it feels like when the research isn't working. There's a difference between knowing the theory and sitting with a parent who's been awake since 3am, dreading the school run. Stacey has done both. For over a decade, Stacey has been in the trenches, facilitating support groups for parents navigating the hardest parts of raising neurodiverse kids. Not the polished highlight reel, the real stuff. The school refusal. The food battles. The sleep struggles. The hygiene standoffs. The social strains that break your heart. The aggression that scares you. The moments when you lock yourself in the bathroom and wonder if you're doing any of this right. She knows these conversations intimately- not just from research, but from showing up week after week and hearing parents pour out their most exhausting, most vulnerable, most "I can't believe I'm admitting this" moments. That's not something you learn from a textbook. That's earned. It's also personal. Stacey is a mom of two boys, Dashiel AuDHD and Declan. When her own child was diagnosed with ADHD, learning differences, anxiety and Autism, she didn't just cope. She went deeper. She immersed herself in neuroscience, child development, and eventually sought out training directly under Dr. Shefali Tsabary, the founder of The Conscious Parenting Method. What she found transformed not just her parenting, but her entire approach to helping others. Today, Stacey is a double-certified coach, bestselling author, and one of the most trusted voices in conscious parenting for neurodiverse families. Her work began with one-minute videos and grew into a top-rated podcast, masterclasses, workshops, international speaking engagements, and five internationally published books; including Conscious Parenting Your ADHD Child, Ignite Your Parenting and Ignite Your Happiness. She has a gift for taking the rigor of Positive Psychology and Conscious Parenting research and translating it into something a stressed, exhausted parent can actually use at 7pm on a Tuesday. In 2020, she left her long, successful executive career in Silicon Valley and hasn't looked back. She and her husband Barry now world-school their boys across the globe (15+ countries and counting), with a home base in Scotland. She's living proof that when you stop white-knuckling parenthood and start working with your child's brain instead of against it, everything shifts. If you're tired of strategies that work for other kids but not yours, you're in the right place.
